"Born into Turmoil": Modern history books are void of the genocide committed by the Allies against German civilians during WWII that killed 3.8 million innocent women, children and old men. They became targets, disposable "Collateral Damage", because of their German heritage. Bruno's book is based on his personal experiences as seen through the eyes of a German boy and young man. Heart-warming, emotional and laced with humor. A MUST- READ for young and old readers.
Dream for Fun and Profit: Readers of "Born into Turmoil" requested a sequel to see how Bruno fared as an immigrant to Canada and the USA. An intimate account of his life describing the highs and lows and how he succeeded from a penniless laborer to become a Corporate Executive of a national firm and President/CEO of several firms. Bruno is an entrepreneur at heart and an instinctive problem solver. His experiences are a "How To Guide" to enjoy/exploit the opportunities and freedoms America offers in a dignified and honest manner. A fascinating read for all.

Children of the War....
...Faith, Friendship, and Family in the Midst of the Battlefield
Anne Frank believed, until the end of her young life, that people were basically good at heart. She looked at the world of tragedy, death, and destruction and was able to see, with childlike innocence, that good would eventually prevail over the evils of the world. While Anne Frank is one of the most notable children alive during World War II, she is not the only child with a story to tell.
Bruno W. Lange was born in Duesseldorf, Germany. A young German boy growing up under the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler during WWII, he has recently published his autobiographical account of survival, Born into Turmoil. When Duesseldorf was targeted for destruction by the Allies, Bruno and his family moved to Poland. His strong Christian upbringing instantly refuted the propaganda being distributed by the Hitler Youth Movement. He knew Jewish people and did not see them as the evil monsters so easily portrayed in the literature.
As the war ended, Bruno and his family struggled to survive in post-war Germany. His family was starving and freezing, and he was looking for an escape. He soon became obsessed with American movies. In high school he took Ballroom Dance classes. For the first time he experienced a little fame and glamour that accompanied talent.
Born into Turmoil spans one young man's life in pre-war Germany, during the Allied occupation, and life after the destruction. Heart-warming, emotional, and laced with humor, Born into Turmoil is a story unlike any other that you have ever read - and it's all true.
Coming to Canada and America.... ....Penniless, No Job but with Fire in his Belly to succeed.
In 1956 Bruno Lange left war-torn Germany to see the world. The Canadian Government recruited young, healthy, able -bodied German men to immigrate to Canada. In return for a two year commitment to take any job they needed filled, the Government paid a one-way voyage to any destination in Canada. Bruno selected Vancouver BC because it was closest to Hawaii which he always wanted to visit.
Filled with hope and dreams to earn some money he quickly found out that no jobs were available for immigrants in Vancouver. Living in a $2.00 per night flea bitten hotel room, his savings diminished like a snowball in the desert sun. With his last 35 cents he went to an all-night movie. Now totally broke there were only two ways to go, up or in the gutter. .
Bruno found employment in Kitimat BC as a laborer. Saving his money he returned to Vancouver BC after nine months and became a dance instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studios. In Germany he was a competitive ballroom dancer and he used his skills in his new profession. One of his students managed a real estate company and offered him a sales position. Still learning to speak English properly, now he learned the finer points of the language, legal verbiage and contract laws to pass the test for his Real Estate License. He excelled beyond all expectations.
In 1966 Bruno came to the US and quickly climbed the corporate ladder and was promoted into executive positions. His Can-Do attitude, vision and trying the untried made him an icon in the business world.
A Fun Read that will help those striving for a better living. Entertaining and fascinating.
